«Morning guys. I’ll get to the point right away,» Brady said in a video posted to social media. «I’m going to retire forever. I know the process was a big deal last time. So when I woke up this morning I thought I’d hit record and let you guys know first so I won’t be wordy. You just get a super emotional retirement rehearsal and I used mine last year.»

The first milestone in Brady’s career ended three years ago, when he left the New England Patriots after 20 years and six championships.
patriots owner Robert Kraft spoke about Brady’s retirement on Thursday morning, he joined «CNN This Morning» and said he will do everything in his power to sign Brady to a one-day contract to retire as a Patriot.

«I don’t like to make a commitment for him, but we will do everything in our power to bring him back, get him signed as a Patriot and find ways to honor him for many years to come. And we’ve had some great ones.»

«Tommy, I’ll always be here for you. You’re part of our family,» Kraft said when asked for his parting words for Brady.
«I just love the guy so much and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for him and I think he can do a lot of good things for America and reach a lot of people,» Kraft continued. «Thank you for the time you gave us and everyone here in the New England region loves and respects you and wants happiness for you in your life.»
