Netflix Renewal Status: Pending (Last Update: 03/31/2023)

As of this writing, Netflix has yet to announce the renewal of From me to you: Kimi ni Todokewhich is not surprising considering that the Japanese drama has just landed on Netflix.

However, regardless of how the series performs on Netflix, it is highly unlikely that the series will be renewed for a second season. This is because twelve episodes covered the entirety of the manga.

Any additional season would require the manga’s original author Karuho Shiina or screenwriter Miyamoto Hayato to write new, original work.

Until Netflix confirms, we’ll leave the renewal status pending.

Renewal Chance: 2/10 – With all of the manga’s arcs covered, continuing the series would require a new and original story.
